# About Christopher Burns

Founder of Inth and creator of c15t, building code-native compliance infrastructure.

I am Christopher Burns, a second-time founder building Inth: compliance infrastructure for teams that ship fast. I built c15t, an open-source compliance SDK with 2.7M downloads, after a decade building developer tools and trust infrastructure.

Inth exists because the old compliance model was built around dashboards, PDFs, and after-the-fact reviews, while modern software teams ship continuously.

Before Inth, I spent seven years building Everfund, a platform that helped charities raise millions. That work taught me how often compliance breaks in production code long before it shows up in a dashboard.

# Hey 👋🏻
# I'm Christopher Burns.

I help teams **build better** software through thoughtful **user experiences**.

## About Me

I've always been obsessed with how people interact with technology. My journey started back in school, where I was that kid in computer class who discovered dev tools and would spend hours showing my friends how to change the headteacher's name on websites. Those were the wild days of web development - I still miss the marquee tag! There was something magical about being able to peek behind the curtain and modify the web.

Clean user interfaces and intuitive experiences became my true passion when I realized their impact. I believe every click, every form, every interaction is an opportunity to reduce cognitive load and make technology feel more human.

This philosophy led me to found Everfund, where I built a modern donation platform to help non-profits raise more money through better technology. As a founder, I spent months in San Francisco, immersing myself in the startup ecosystem and falling in love with the city's energy and innovation. Now based in the UK, I'm looking to make the move back to SF permanently - there's something special about that city that just feels like home to a tech founder.

During my time at Everfund, I obsessed over user experience – spending hours watching how charity staff interacted with donation systems, understanding their pain points, and iterating on interfaces until they felt effortless. We created a platform that not only unified fundraising processes but made them intuitive enough that anyone could use it confidently.

I found myself constantly asking questions like "How technical is this user? Would they know what to do if they get stuck?" These weren't just technical considerations – they were about understanding human behavior and designing systems that work with people, not against them.

Now, I'm looking for my next adventure – ideally in San Francisco – where I can bring both my technical expertise and user-centric approach to help teams build exceptional software. I believe the best products are those that feel invisible, where users achieve their goals without even thinking about the interface.

When I'm not coding, you'll find me learning new front-end projects, building user interfaces, or sharing what I've learned about creating software people actually enjoy using. Always happy to chat about tech, user experience, or reminisce about the golden days of web development!
